Update

So much has happened and I keep meaning to update, and it just never happens...

We met with a business consultant that we were first introduced to back at our Home Delivery Conferences 2 years ago, and we exchanged ideas on how to better grow the creamery for the future and it looks pretty positive that we will be bringing him on in some manner to try to better grow our existing routes. We are also working with him to order our next 2 delivery trucks, as it has been a year since we purchased any new vehicles and we need them.

In just one weeks time we lost all of our spanish workers and I fired our store clerk, it was not a good week for any of the family as we were very short staffed, but we made it thru by working together, until new personal could be hired.

An article was written about us that ran in the Washington Post, even after it being over a week old, the calls and emails are STILL coming in requesting service to areas such as Reston, Arlington, Old Town Alexandria, Herndon, and Great Falls. We are taking names and putting everyone on a waiting list until we can get the trucks and new drivers hired to accomodate all the new business...this is a very exciting time!

Gabriel has officially started as a Tiger Cub, we have attended one pack and one den meeting and gone on one outing together. It looks to be a very positive experience for Gabe, and he already was friends with many of the other boys, and now the 6 of them will grow up together in the scouts, so I am excited about that. It seems like alot of work, but I think it is important for him to learn these valuable lessons at this time in his life to help him to be a better adult.

Sophia has taken about 4 weeks of tap and ballet classes and I think she is enjoying it. The reason I am not completely sure is the fact we are not allowed to be in the class during instruction time so I don't get to see how she is progressing and once we get home and I ask her to show me what she has learned she doesn't remember...

I have Gabe taking a Soccer Skills class again, this will be the third time, but because neither Tony nor I are available on Saturdays I can't enroll him to play on any Fall Leagues because we would not be able to take him or watch his games. I am hoping the Rec Center will offer an indoor soccer league over the winter that he can take part in.
