Found her in bed last night, sleeping with her pretend vacuum cleaner, there was hardly any room in the bed for her! I also noticed the entire box of ELMO band aids was on the floor, she had opened all of them and had them stuck to all her doll babies from their heads to their toes!
The way she takes the POST IT notes at the creamery and writes all over them saying she is signing her name, when I ask her what it says, she says "Phia Mia Papa Pia" (we made a song up that we sing to her)
The way she can always get her Nana and Poppy or her Grandma and Granddaddy to let her "borrow" some of the toys that I played with as a child to bring home, and she barely ever remembers to take them back thus overflowing our house with more toys!
The way she HAS to have an umbrella when it rains so that her hair won't get wet, even though from our back porch to the car is like 5 feet!
She informed her Nana the other day that she was driving way too fast and therefore causing her car seat to upset in the car.
She fell down while playing outside today and I asked her what the Good Samaritan would do in this situation and her response was "let me lay in the road!"... ( so much for learning the lesson, huh?)
This morning, upon taking off yet another dirty diaper from overnight she exclaims..."Momma the trash can is too full" my response well someone keeps making dirty diapers, that person should start using the potty...her response No, I just need another trash can!
While brushing her teeth in the morning she likes to tell me who is in her mouth that I need to brush out, today we had Jay Jay the Jet Plane, Curious George, Comfy Couch, and Clifford the Big Red Dog all in her mouth at the same time...boy, I had ALOT of cleaning to do!
While changing her diaper this morning, she comments to me "Mommy I have a BIG butt!" Why do you say that I ask, "because I can, because I am growing!"
Today (4-2-07) she told Grandma that she no longer needed to worry about changing her diaper because I would do it when she got home...GRAND!!
While picking flowers today, she broke some of the daffodils and Grandma told her she needed to be more gentle, and she said she would as she ripped off another bloom (yeah, gentle as a bull in a china shop!)
4/17/07 While at Grandma's she was showing her that she had brought her Mommy and Baby Pony along to play with for the day...Grandma (who has been desperately trying to potty train her) asked she does the baby Pony pee in the potty or in her diaper, without missing a beat Sophia answers, NO, Ponies pee on the ground!
4/19/07 Sophia was trying to take pictures of Gabriel, she would say "Say Cheese, Gabe...Ohhh, you weren't smiling, that was not a good picture we will have to take another one..."
6/9/2007 Sophia and Sam decided to have a "poop party"...Kate said while she was working at the calf barn, Sam and Sophia were playing out in the pavillon when she went out to check on them they were both naked from the waist down...when she asked them what they were doing they announced they were pooping in the rocks...how amusing!
8/13/07 We were putting shoes away that we found in her room she quickley told me that she was taking her shoes to the "mudhole" versus the "mudroom" where we keep our shoes...(although sometimes it could resemble a mudhole I would hope that would not be the norm)!
While out shopping Sophia had to use the bathroom (or so she thought) upon getting her pants down and sittin gon the potty she realized maybe she did not have to go afterall, but before giving up she insisted that she must "try, try again" which I thought was pretty good advice from a 3 year old!
