A non-stop day!

This morning started off like any other day with laundry to fold and the dishwasher to empty, Gabe slept until almost 9:00 am (he is fighting some sort of cold), and I head to the creamery soon after with both kids in tow to try to get some work done.

Around 11:00 Tony needed to go run errands in town and was willing to take one child along, Gabe was really sounding awful and seemed to be running a fever again so I called the doctor and made an appointment for early afternoon. Sophia went with Tony and I worked until almost 1:00, ran home to feed Gabe and head out to the appointment. The doctor told us it was viral, but did up his Albuterol and said he should be better in a few more days. We decided that since we were in the area we would stop into visit with Grandma and Pappy Sowers and we stayed almost an hour before heading to CVS to pick-up meds. Pappy really looks good and hopes to be able to start using his leg again after his appointment this Thursday, they both were in very good spirits and were very happy to see us, I will have to try to get back down there again soon so that they can see Sophia!

Off to CVS and what I thought would be a quick in and out turned into a half and hour chat in the parking lot with a bunch of family members who wanted updates on Grandaddy Beachley, I tell you when stuff like this happens it does make Middletown still have that "small town" appeal! Back to the farm to switch kids with Tony so that I could get Sophia ready to go to her "Wiggles and Giggles" class which is held at the Middletown Rec Center. This is a class that both she and I participate in, she does a small craft, has a story time and dances, it is a good time for us to be able to spend one-on-one time together!

Back home again to pick-up Gabe and get dinner on the table, and then baths and bed for both kids on time because it is back to school for Gabe...wow, what a busy day!
