We called it "creative childcare" today. As first Mom came over to watch my kids and then we get a call from Marcia saying she will come home from the hospital with Kenzie and Jaxxon and let the 4 cousins play together for a few hours, and then around 1:00 when Kate needed to head out to start the afternoon milking Sam and Blue joined the crew too!
Marcia got everyone fed lunch, which allowed me to get a few more hours of work done before coming home. Around 2:00 I arrived home and she left soon after with Kenzie and Jaxxon to head home for a few hours, and I kept the other 4 until just after 7:00 pm when Kate arrived to take Sam and Blue home, what a day!
Granddaddy was moved from FMH to Washington Hospital Center and they are supposed to be running a bunch more tests on him this morning. Mom and Grandma went with him and stayed overnight, and Mom will most likely not be returning home til late tonight when Aunt Marcia can go to to relieve her, with Frederick County Schools being closed AGAIN today for teacher meetings she has Kenzie and Jaxxon because Baltimore County Schools are on and Tanya teaches there. It is to the point that I am getting a bit annoyed by all these "teacher days" seems to me they can have those in the middle of the summer!
In Creamery news, we will be starting a brand new route tomorrow in Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. we have almost 70 stops in the area and we actually will be making some deliveries into businesses on the Hill...for all we know we might
be deliverying milk to the President of the United States!! We don't actually have a driver yet for this route so Tony will be running the route tomorrow.
