Epcot (experimental prototype community of tomorrow)

This is my actual favorite park when we visit Disney. I love being immersed in all the different cultures and experiencing the different foods as we travel from country to country. This year we purchased passports for the kids which they had stamped and signed from a perosn from each of the 11 countries. I was like a HUGE scavenger hunt for Gabe looking for the kids station after we entered each country. We also had to find the flat coin making machine in each country as well to add to his ever growing collection!

Sophia and did having some waiting time on our hands as Gabe and Tony rode some of the "big" kid rides and sometimes we would do a child swap pass but most of the time I figured she had waited enough without having to sit around waiting for me, which is truely fine because I am just not into those fast, bumpy rides anymore...must be a growing older thing! The pal Mickey that we had bought 2 years ago still worked great in the park, however Sophia thought she was in charge of him and anytime he would giggle (which means he wants to tell you something) no one was aloud to touch him because according to her "he talks too much"!

Something else the kids really enjoyed was Innoventions, there is absolutely so many hands on fun for them, in this photo Gabe is making paper which he was able to draw on and bring home, it was a very interesting process. We also went thru the "House of the Future" (one of Tony's personal favorites) and we also pretended we were in a house fire and learned was to get out and potential fire hazards inside our own home...so lots of fun was had there!

Tony's favorite attraction is Imagination with Figment, they have changed the ride yet again but it is still fun...but I think Tony enjoyed it most of all!

I guess you can say it is a tradition that we make reservations and eat at the "Land" while we are at Epcot, the menu had changed slightly but it was still a good time had by all!

It was definitley a full day spent at Epcot, basically from open to close, I however was having trouble with my contacts and decided to head back to the Lodge before the light show had begun, so Tony and the kids stayed and I was able to catch a bus home before the MAJOR rush out of the park. I have to say we LOVED the fact we did not have to worry about parking, or finding our way back and forth from the parks, the Disney bus system was a wonderful way to travel back and forth, most days the buses had hardly any people on them, so we are glad we decided not to get a rental car!
