What a busy Monday...

Up at 1:00 am with 2 screaming children, what a way to start a Monday! Gabe was complaining of belly pains, and Sophia had a very wet diaper and needed a drink, so after getting them both all snuggled back in for the night I settled in on the couch to watch my late-night tv on Nickelodeon or TV Land.

I think I finally fell asleep in the middle of "Who's the Boss" and was awakened at around 6:30 am to the sound of Tony taking a shower, so after he left I decided I had better get moving in case the kids woke up early, so I attempt to take a shower to find there is little hot water left...what a great Monday this is turning out to be...well at least the timer on the coffee pot worked and my Rain Forest Crunch coffee was waiting for me. I them started a load of laundry and read a little bit from a magazine.

Both kids woke up at about the same time and then Gabe insists on getting dressed first, while Sophia would rather play in her toybox awhile. Kate arrives around 8:00 am; while she finishes up breakfast with the kids I head out to the creamery for a few hours. It was a very quiet day and I finished early.

Upon my arrival at home everyone was eatting lunch and Samuel and Sophia needed naps, I allowed them to play a little while longer before attempting to put them both down for naps. Sophia is easy, I just put her in her crib and turn and walk out of the room...she may cry for 5-10 minutes but she does usually go to sleep. Sam on the other hand is a bit more challenging, I rocked him for about 25 minutes, before he finally gave up and fell asleep. With 2 down of course Gabe wanted me to play with him on the computer, I was able to stay awake for about 20 minutes before stretching out on the floor to take a nap myself!

Upon awaking from my nap I had this unknown energy to start cleaning and organizing the play room and boxing up stuff the kids no longer play with, I hung up curtains, moved furniture, and helped Gabe make a grand mess with all the new toys I unboxed from the move.

Sam and Sophia awoke around 3:30 so we got everyone dressed and headed out to the barn to play in the Morton building. Gabe hooked up the wagon to on of his bikes and gave rides to the little ones, everyone had a ball!

Came in aorund 6:30 to make dinner of pork chops, mac-n-cheese, and peas, gave everyone baths and put them to bed...I guess I had better go clean up the kitchen so that I can watch my Las Vegas at 9:00...good night!
