My amazing kids!

Yesturday being the 4th of July and all, the kids went to their Great Grandparents for the day, as the sitter was off. Upon my return to pick them up they had taken on this almost total transformation from my "little children" to these amazing creatures that were doing all these "new tricks." I guess they had been saving up for a time to show off their newest skills and I guess having the undivided attention from Grandma and Granddaddy was enough!

Gabe read his first book today, it was of course about "Thomas the Trian" but even still he read it to me like a pro, I was so surprised! He also surprised me with how much of the "Lord's Prayer" he remembered from Bible School last week, he is at the age were any info you give him he absorbs like a sponge! My little man is reading, and he is not even 4 yet! My grandmother does have an amzing way with children and teaching them to read and write, I owe alot of the skills he knows to her teaching.

Now little Sophia decided that she was going to provide entertainment for them today. She got out her musical toys sat them on the floor and made them play, then she giggles, claps her hands, and from on her knees dances to the music! One of the cutest things I have ever seen, if the song that happens to come on was too slow, she would just give her little player a hit and skip to the next song, where the clapping and dancing would start again!

Where are my little babies? Who came in and made them grow up so fast in the course of a 6 hour time span? Wonder what "new" tricks they will show me today....
