I fired the sitter!!

Aww, I am still fuming over this one...

OK, we hired this sitter just a month ago while vacationing in Missouri, she lived close-by and all her references were good, she seemed good with the kids and for the most past I was happy with the job she was doing...EXCEPT for the fact that she can't seem to get her butt to work! Today was the third time she called in to cancel on me, the second time for being sick, the other time her car broke down. And on top of that SHE was not the one that called me today, it was her boyfriend! Ok, this sitter is like 38 years of age, and can't get up to call in herself?? I have no respect for lazy people like that! I mean for the most part my children slept the majority of the afternoon and she was at leasure to just hang out and watch tv...and I paid her for that, how much easier of a job could you ask for?

It is so funny how the people that fit into this catagory end up the way they are, is because they don't have enough sense to help themselves, I can pay her for the job, but if she can't get her lazy butt out of the bed and suck it up, then that is the reason at 38 years of age she is only capable of keeping a job for 1 month at a time and can't afford basic expenses. For those of us who are capable of making it in this world, you go to work even when you don't feel like it, even sick sometimes if that is what it takes to pay the bills and get respect!

So now I am back to taking the kids with me to work, or waiting until Tony gets home at night to go to work, until my other office assistant returns from maturnity leave!
