After watching the rain come down as hard as it did today I had flashbacks from 2 years ago when we first moved into this neighborhood and it flooded here and our one neighbors basement was totally ruined...at least now the grading is a bit better and for the most part the rain stayed away from the houses!
It was pretty much a normal Monday for me...6 loads of laundry, 2 big pots of hams (I cook them off for the creamery to sell), packed about 8 boxes, and cleaned the downstairs! Gabe was on a playdate for the morning and Sophia slept a 3 1/2 hour nap this morning, which really helped me accomplish alot!
My mom and Beck stopped by for coffee and to show him the house. He really shows a genuine interest in our family, I got the picture albums out and he was remembering names of relatives he met on Easter...I really like him alot and think the year that he spends with us will be fun for us all!
Our house is still scheduled for delivery this week...with it raining like it has been we are afraid they will get stuck in the field so we will need to order some rock to put down to help avoid some problems later!
Tony is working in the back pastuerizing all week...he said today went pretty smoothly, so hopefully the rest of the week will be more of the same!
