Well, the day started off on the wrong foot as I was afraid Tony was going to be late for work, so in trying to get him up I couldn't sleep anymore and decided to try to get some work done for the creamery. We already knew froma phone call that we received last night that one of the drivers was not going to be in today...little did we know of all the other employee issues we had today. The bottle washer called in sick, and one of our new drivers overslept and missed his training with the driver that is leaving in a week. My dad wasn't able to drive a truck today cause he a meeting in Lancaster that he needed to go to, so my mom was going to run the route with the new driver that overslept except we could never get ahold of him after we initially woke him up, so mo ended up calling my cousin Andrew who is off from his job at Eastalco today to ride along with her. So since she was on a truck I had no one to keep the kids and had to forgo working at the creamery today.
Sophia had her 9 month check-up this morning so I did have to run to Brunswick for that, so I was able to have my Grandparents who live in Burkittsville keep Gabe while we were at the doctors. Sophia weighs 16lbs and is 27 inches long. She had to have 2 shots and a new law in Maryland is in effect now that all children have to be tested for Lead, so they attempted to take her blood but were unsuccessful...so you can imagine what type of mood she was in!
I picked up Gabe and headed up to the creamery to drop off the quarts of ham broth and some bookwork that I had completed here at home, talked to Tony briefly and headed home. Tony found out today that our new house will be arriving next Tuesday, he then got a call from the realtor that our Buyer is trying to back-out...she did not have any details, just a voicemail from the buyers realtor...so I started FREAKING OUT...how can this happen to us...not now??!!
I pulled out the contract that we signed to see if there was a contigency clause about having to sell her house to purchase ours...and it was NEVER FILLED OUT, so we called our realtor back adn she was looking at the contract too and agreed that this buyer has to purchase our house, she can't get out of it, but she still has to talk to the ather realtor and get back to us on the details.
If we have to put the house back on the market now it won't sell...it is a disaster area...boxes everywhere, and trash...so hopefully we will have better news here in a few hours...in the meantime I will just continue packing like a mad person!
