Poor Gabriel

We were supposed to have a showing in the middle of the day, so the kids and I went out to run some errands and were gone almost 2 hours...but it doesn't look as though an realtors were by...go figure!

This is the first time in a very long while that it has just been me with the 2 kids at the grocery store...it is just easier to have Tony along! But I went ahead anyway and for the most part everything was fine, we had our list and did not buy anything that wasn't on it...the PROBLEM arose when something that Gabe had wanted they didn't have...NOW I am the BAD GUY! He has been wanting balloons for the longest time, he loves to throw them in the air and play catch...etc, so we put them on the list a few weeks back and he has been waiting for us to go so that he could finally get them! He was being an angel, helping me get what we needed, and then long and behold the grocery store doesn't carry them...at first I thought it was going to be OK, but then his little face just broke down and the tears started falling, I apologized as much as I could but to no avail, his day is just ruined now!

While I was carrying the groceries into the house, he called Tony on the phone and was telling him all about it...Daddy is going to try to make things all better tonight...SO hopefully he will have better luck!
