Can it get worse...?

Well lets see...we got a phone call mid morning today from our realtor with the "bomb shell"...the potential buyer of our house, the one we signed a binding contract with is a lowlife, whom was losing her house due to a foreclosure and was trying to get a buyer on her house and then in turn buying ours with the cash before the bank came in and took it all away from her. Well, when her buyer fell thru she was S.O.L. and therefore wanted out of the contract she had with us. Hopefully we will at least get the deposit check she put down to ratify the contract, but at this point I am not holding my breath...(it will most likely bounce!)...how can this happen? I thought a contract was binding...I thought we would be protected, but in the end she will most likely get away with it, because suing her will take a long time and most likely she has nothing to get...ever heard the saying "you can't get blood from a turnip?"

So now our house is offically back on the market, the "SOLD" sign has been removed and it now reads "FOR SALE." In fact, we got a call at about 5:45 this afternoon that we have a showing tonight between 7:00 and 8:00, we came home and cleaned like "mad people", ordered pizza for dinner and it is 7:55 and no one has showed up yet...we just put the kids to bed, boy I am not looking forward to having to have showings again!

On a more positive note, Tony's parents surprised us today and flew in from California for a weekend visit, Gabe is super excited and I am sure Sophia will enjoy the extra love and attention from them, we have not seen them for about 3 months, and we are going on vacation with them at the end of May.
