Busy Saturday...

Whew...what a busy day we had today (I guess no more than usual, but I at least have time to make a note of this one..)

Of course, Sophia came home a few hours early from her sleepover next door at my brother's house, but since things have been no stop around here the house can be pretty disasterous by the weekend, leaving me with plenty to do while Tony is at the farmers market...

I managed to do 7 loads of laundry, clean all 3 bathrooms, organized both of the kids closets, disassambled, washed and re-hung 7 of the light fixtures in the house (I also replaced all the regular bulbs with the new energy saver mercury bulbs), and baked a batch of bananna chocolate chip cookies (and this was all before 2:00 when Tony got home)...whew!

Once we got over to the farm, we organized and labeled all the used metal boxes so that we can FINALLY re-sell them and get them out of our storage cabinent, hauled and burned lots of boxes that we laying around the creamery and other buildings, fixed the fence on the maturnity ward, and then helped unclog the drains in the mailking parlour all before we got to come home and have dinner...it is no wonder I promptly fell asleep after I took a shower...

In other FUN news we have our June trip planned for the Poconos in upper PA. We will stay one night at Hershey Park (at the Hershey Lodge) on the way up, and Tony is looking into staying in NY City and possibly seeing a show...

For our January trip we have a Disney Cruise booked for the eastern Caribbean, however I think we want to switch it over to the western Caribbean now because the excursions look to be better and there is one more stop for the same money. SO excited about this one!!! :)
