Both kids woke up with low fevers and coughing so I went ahead and made appointments for them. Gabe has pink eye and fluid in both ears so he got an antibiotic, Sophia has not really been sick long enough yet so an antibiotic was prescribed but I won't get it filled until at least the end of the week if things don't improve for her. The doctor did give me samples of a stranger antihistamine and decongestant to help the kids breathe better...Gabe's problem ultimately is the fact he doesn't know how to blow his nose and therefore all that "stuff" has not where to go but in his throat and ears! When the Doctor asked Sophia how she was feeling, our "drama queen" answered "not good, I still have this AWFUL cough!"
For dinner tonight I decided to use one of my new platters that I got from Tony's parents to serve dinner on...we had stuffed flounder, broccoli, and garlic mashed potatoes...yummy!
Sam came over to play after evening chores were completed and Sophia got all dressed up in her Christmas dress and new "princess shoes" and decided that Sammy and her were getting married, so I told them I needed to take there wedding portrait and this is what I got....two goofy 3 year olds laughing hysterically! 
Tony reminded the kids that everything we did last night was going to be for the last time...this is our last meal in 2007, this is your last bath/shower of 2007...this is the last time I am going to tell you to go to bed...(you get the idea), the kids found the game amusing! Our family was in bed fast asleep by 10:00 pm so although we did not watch the fireworks we still want to wish all our friends and family HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
