Our Disney vacation started Sunday the 13th when we left for the airport at 4:00 am for an 7:50 flight. We were able to check-in to our resort at Old Key West but could not get into our room until later that afternoon, so we headed to Downtown Disney and played at DisneyQuest for the majority of the day.
Monday we spent from open to close at Magic Kingdom.
Tuesday we did Future World at Epcot, ate dinner at the Garden Grill and watched the fireworks show.
Wednesday we did the World Showcase at Epcot, and had lunch at the restaurant at Canada.
Thursday we did MGM, had a character breakfast with PlayHouse Disney characters, and then went to the Luau at the Polynesian Resort for dinner.
Friday we did Animal Kingdom and had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.
Saturday we played Fantasia mini-golf, and did some last minute shopping at Downtown Disney before heading to the airport for our 8:00 pm flight.
The trip was very much needed but between the weather being cold and rainy most everyday, and the fact that the parks were VERY crowded, this certainly was not our best trip to Disney. I will be working on a vacation album in the near future.
Back to work in the office today was basically just catching up on emails and voicemails. It looks like we have about 80 new customers that I need to get into our routes that signed up while I was gone last week. Tony started advertising for another driver, as we are going to need to split a few of our existing routes to allow for more growth as well as replace a few drivers that have been causing us trouble for awhile but because of the holiday and our trip we have put up with them way too long!
The kids spent the day with Grandma and Granddaddy and had a really good day. Sophia really missed them and got right back into taking naps with Granddaddy. Gabe worked on schoolwork and organizing his next necklace project.
It is good to be home....
