Gabe has been feeling under the weather since early Tuesday morning. He woke with a sore throat, but I gave him tylenol and sent him off to school, when he got home in the afternoon you could tell he wasn't doing any better and by dinner he had a fever and a really nasty dry cough. So he stayed home all day Halloween and rested on the couch, he would call me home if he needed help getting lunch, but otherwise slept and watched tv all day...miracuously he was felling MUCH better when it was time to head out to go trick-or-treating!
We go to a neighborhood in Frederick where the houses are very close together. The kids always make out like bandits, and bring home an entire pillow case filled with goodies! Most of it will most likely go over to the creamery as snacks...
Gabe stayed home the rest of the week and I FINALLY broke down and took him to the doctors on Friday morning to find out that there was nothing they could do it was simply a bad cold and keep giving him tylenol and having him rest. Of course by Saturday afternoon he was feeling much, much better!
