Tony asked me if I would help him clean the insides of the raw bulk milk tanks, I said I was up for the task but did not realize how incredibly small the hole was in which I needed to crawl thru to get in and out of the tank! The one tank did have a bit of milk left in the bottom of it and I was doing OK once Tony lifted me up and put me feet in first and I was able to disassemble the cleaning ball from inside the tank and hand it out to him to wash by hand before I put it back together, the real problem arose when it was time for me to get out of the tank...my feet were slippery from being in the milk and there was no footing...I needed to get my head, arms and chest out of the hole far enough so that Tony could grab me and pull me the rest of the way out, the problem was if I let go of the inside of the hole I was going to slip and fall into the milk, and sure enough I did! I was covered from head to foot and I have a really nice bruise on my foot and bottom...the things you do for love, right? The part he forgot to tell me was that I needed to climb into the second tank and do the process all over again and since I knew how lovely it felt to fall I was not too excited about going thru the process a second time...but I survived and promptly came home to take a shower! I guess my lactose intolerance problem only arises when I drink the milk NOT bathe in it!
In other news I took Gabe to the doctor for his yearly check-up, everything looks to be fine, but after sitting in the tiny cell-like room for over an hour waiting to be seen the doctor asks me if he is normally this active and "out-of-control" and I told her well we were doing OK waiting as long as I had something to entertain him with but I certainly thought a 70 something page book would have certainly been more than enough for entertainment purposes but the wait in this office never ceases to amaze me...our appointment was at 9:45, we arrive about 9:35 and were seen at 10:50!!
Updates on Jim, is that he should be able to come home today...Sue sounds exhausted from all the running back in forth. When they did the procedure yesterday afternoon they found 3 arteries blocked, one at 75%, one at 60% and one at 40%, they only opened the one blocked 75%, the other two have to get worse before they can fix them. I don't completely understand it but I am just glad he will be feeling better soon!
