My Goofy Child...

Both our kids are put to bed at 8:00 pm each night, Gabe might get up a few times to ask for a drink or claim he has an invisible itch that needs cream, but for the most part he falls right off to sleep...now Sophia she is a WHOLE different story...

For example, last night at 10:00 pm when Tony and I woke from falling asleep on the couch to actually go to bed I went back the hall to check on the kids and since Sophia INSISTS on being put to bed with all her bedroom lights on (I usually turn them off once she falls asleep), I opened her bedroom door and much to my surprise she is wide awake, radio on, bed full of all sorts of toys and books, she is at this time putting on baby lotion because her arms are too dry and when I walk into the bathroom I find that she has been scrubbing the toilet with the toilet brush! So needless to say I get everything picked back up, put her back in bed...minus the toys and books and kiss her goodnight yet again...but now I am no longer all that sleepy...go figure!

Some mornings when she does wake before me and comes to our room to say good morning she may already be completely dressed...clothes over top of her PJ's mind you, and nothing matching but don't tell her about it cause then she gets mad at you...so Tony and I are learning to let her wear what makes her happy so that we do not have to "fight" with her over her clothing choices!

Today she is wearing a purple gingham dress with navy blue pants that have pink hearts on them and her big teddy bear slippers...quite the ensemble!
