Vincent 2, Sugar Bear 0...

I guess because we have had such a mild winter and now things have gotten cold again, all the field mice have been coming around the house looking for warmth. Last week one afternoon I trapped 3 in my sticky traps!!

Anyway, in the mornings when I go out to feed Vincent; more times than not lately there is a mouse in his food bin, and it drives him nuts as much as it scares me, and he will catch the mouse in his mouth and carry it outside where he plays with it until it is dead...whatever works is fine with me...this is the second time I have watched him do this...it just amazes me that I have a dog that will kill a mouse!

The other night Sugar Bear was very content just sitting and starring at the dishwasher (so I knew something must be up), sure enough there was a mouse running thru the vents, squeaking, but she could not get to it, when we have have mice in the house before she always gets them for us and leaves them on my kitchen floor in the morning for me to find.

At least my animals know that mice are not allowed in the house...or around it for that matter and they seem to be trying their best to take care of them for me!
