I was not planning on being up to bring in the New Year, but with Tony being sick and snoring soo loudly I ended up being awake at midnight and watching the ball drop in Times Square! I had trouble falling back to sleep and now I am very tired this afternoon.
For the most part the day has been quiet and uneventful...I took the kids to Grandmas for a few hours while I did some year-end reports for the accountant and cleaned and straightened the office and storefront. Last week we finally got a brand new 2 door freezer for the store and Tony and I were able to organize and fill it today. We were planning on taking a full blown inventory but by 1:00 when I needed to go get the kids we had barely scratched the surface on that job!
Tony has been fighting a cold for about a week now, it started in his sinuses and has moved to his chest, I was thinking we were going to go to the Urgent Care yesturday but he said he was starting to feel better, the kids and I are just trying to stay healthy, we don't need to be sick for our trip in less than 2 weeks!
The tree has been taken down and already hauled away, we still have a few Christmas boxes to put back outside in the shed but the house is pretty much back in order.
While we were out shopping yesturday we picked up some new luggage for our trip...now everyone will be responsible for their own luggage...Sophia has already filled hers up with all sorts of "stuff" from inside her room and keeps asking when the airplane will come...

We also took a peek inside the children's furniture store in Frederick and fell in love with this set for Sophia's room. It needs to be speical ordered and the color is honey stain (not the white wash as shown, and we did not pay nearly as much either!) so hopefully once we get home from our vacation we can get her room painted before the furniture arrives!
Hope your 2007 is great!
