Well, we survived the FIRST day of school. Gabe did fine as he had already met his teacher last Thursday and he already knew many of the other children riding his bus. I even had spoken to both bus drivers on the phone prior to Monday's pick-up and knew their names and they had given me their cell phone numbers in case I needed to contact them about anything. So I felt pretty good about everything as well.
The whole family gathered at the bus stop to watch Gabe get on the bus. Sam and Sophia both ran around excitedly awaiting the BIG YELLOW SCHOOLBUS!!
Gabe was all smiles getting on the bus as well as when he got off the bus at 11:58 on the dot (just as Ms. Millie had told me when she called) He had a very fun first day of class and is looking forward to returning to school on Thursday!
