Sick kids are no fun....

Spent the majority of today taking the kids to the doctors and waiting at the pharmacy to get their meds. What started out as a visit for Sophia to be seen for some pink eye, turned into her also having an upper respiratory infection. Gabriel had thrown up once over night so we thought we should get him checked out as well (figured the doctor would say he had some sort of stomach virus, that we would have to wait to pass)...ended up that he has bronchitus, pink eye, and also bound up bowels, thus why he threw up, and why he complains of stomach pain all the time. So after entertaining the kids in the very small doctors office for over an hour we finally got to leave and head to the pharmacy, and to the grocery store because Gabe has to drink prune juice to get his bowels moving again.

Got the meds and juice and headed home, called Tony to help me administer the suppository and give Gabe his first dose on antibiotics...what a NIGHTMARE that was...(and we have to do it 2 times a day for the next 10 days!) Sophia took her meds with no fuss. Gabe refuses to drink the prune juice...I guess I will need to find a way to disguise it somehow, I personally think it tastes good, but because it is something he has to drink he absolutely refuses!

I did not realize my kids were so ill, I mean they didn't act that sick, neither one of them had a fever, or had no energy, they both were eatting and drinking normally, how could they be so ill but not acting like it? Nevertheless, they are both taking their meds now and things should be moving in the right direction!
