Happy Monday!

Today turned out to be rather uneventful for the most part...got 2 loads of laundry done (folded too)! Tony was in the plant most of the day as we had 2 processors off today, it was a short run and did not go over too badly. Our one driver told us he is looking for another job, so we will need to fill a FT driver position here in the very near future...he says the job is too dangerous for the wage, he wants to find something less dangerous that makes more money. Can't say we can see how being a milk truck driver would be anymore dangerous than say driving to and from any other job, but whatever...

I spent a few hours in the office this morning doing some month-end and year-end closings for the tax accountant, then kept Sammy, Gabe and Sophia for the afternoon.

Wouldn't you know it, it started raining here again today, we certainly did not have enough dry weather to get our mud situation behind us, I just cringed as I looked out the back window all afternoon watching the water puddle up everywhere! (Maybe I spoke too soon on putting the muddy mess behind us!)

Tried a new recipe out of my "Cooking Light" magazine my good friend Erin sent me for Christmas, it is always fun to try something new, more times than not, it only ends up getting made once because my family is not always the most open to new menu item! Did get Gabe to eat all of his dinner again tonight with the reward of bananna splits again for dessert. We had Chicken Marco Polo (chicken breasts stuffed with ham, brocoli and cheese), fresh salad, honey-citrus glazed carrots, and chicken noodles.

Made a deal last night with Gabe that if we can get back into a more regular study routine again, then he could earn either another computer game (like I Spy) or a new book. He acted very excited about it last night but this afternoon he had many an excuse why we couldn't sit down together to study...
