At 17 months of age, Sophia seems to think she knows what she wants to wear. I am not so sure about the combinations she always picks, but I think she ia a little girl just having fun playing "dress-up." Whenever I share these cute little stories about Sophia with my mom, she always tells me that I never played dress up or was even bothered with clothes, so I am not exactly sure where all this fascination with fashion is coming from...but does it really matter, she is having fun and we are enjoying watching what she will come up with next!
The tie dyed skirt she is wearing in this first photo was given to her by her cousins in West Virginia. This has to be one of her most favorite pieces of clothing at the moment. Any chance she gets; that skirt goes on, over whatever she is already wearing...some nights she even insists on wearing it over top her PJ's. We are so grateful for all the friends and family members that share their clothes with us, and because of this, Sophia has a bin of shoes in her closet that are too large at the moment but she still loves to play in them, as you can see she choose these fasionable "barn boots" to wear with her skirt!
In this next photo the original outfit was choosen to attend church on Sunday and I mentioned to Tony that I thought it was cold enough to use hats, and I turned around to go and get hats for all of us to wear and out comes Sophia from her room wearing this bright red hat...she was already for the cold!!!
I tell you, this child never seems to miss a beat!!
