Aggravations of moving...

You would think I would be able to get off of this subject and moving on with my life, but apparently not, as problems keep arising! Tony and I have moved many times in our almost 8 years of marriage and I would like to think of myself as kind of an expert as far as packing and moving up the house, cancelling utility services, forwarding the mail...etc.

However, this move as made me think otherwise...we have been living at our new house for almost 3 weeks now, and I am still not getting any mail. When we made on of the last runs to the old house late last week, I found out that my forwarding order did not go thru with the post office, and I again dealt with that problem this morning, thank goodness my carrier held my mail for me until the forwarding order was received and did not send mail back, so according to the post office I should be receiving mail again soon.

The cable company is another source of aggravation as I just checked my credit card statement online this morning and found them still charging me for service that I cancelled as well! Of course they don't open until 8:30 so I am waiting to make that call. I have been emailing back and forth with the gas and electric companies and as far as I know they have taken my name off the old address and have new accounts set-up for me here.

I am still fighting with Lowes over a wrong delivery they made back in the beginning of April for our decks. They delivered not only deck material but lots of other non-deck items that we clearly did not order and wanted them to take back...the driver refused and after making like 10 calls to the store and even talking to someone in person I FINALLY got the wrong items picked up but the stupid driver never kept record of what he picked up so now they are giving me a hard time to get my credit back! All the items were extremely damaged as they had been rained on numerous times! AHHHHHHHHHH! At least with the Lowe's situation I have contacted my credit card company and they are helping me to resolve this issue.

What a way to start off a day! (Can I climb back in bed?)
