Let's see if I can remember all that has happened in the last week...We FINALLY got the water/sewer lines run and buried, and we finished yesterday running the conduit for the electric and cable...So FINALLY the huge ditch running in my front yard is covered up and I can start planting grass seed. Everything always seems simpler when you are talking about it versus actually doing it!

We ordered all of our wood and supplies form Lowe's to build our decks, and all those supplies arrived on Thursday...(along with supplies that we DIDN'T order), it seems like everytime we deal with Lowe's on pretty big projects they can always manage to screw things up! Last year it was the cabinents that we special ordered for our office that arrived with half of them correct and half in the WRONG stain color...AHHH! We noticed the mistake while the guy was unloading the supplies that something wasn't quite right but he couldn't take the wrong stuff back...so now we will have to go thru the wood figure out what we don't need and what is missing...go back to the store wait in line to request a pick-up of the wrong order and re-order what we need...I thought this was supposed to be an easier solution?!

I am pretty much finished packing what we can live without here at the house, we took the first load of boxes over to the house yesturday, and I did some MAJOR cleaning and started to unpack some of the boxes. I am for the most part happy with the house, but I just can't get over my kitchen. OK, I will admit I am currently spoiled with my current kitchen it is HUGE, with a HUGE island in the middle and it has 30 cabinents and 16 drawers...so upon saying that would anything measure up? My new kitchen has 9 cabinents and 3 drawers, but it does have a HUGE pantry...so with some help of Tony installing me more shelving I will work things out, but I will miss my kitchen!

I guess the last bit of MAJOR news is that we signed a contract last night with the realtor at 10:30 pm, the buyer offered us $7,000 more than we requested (I guess he wants it REAL bad!), and we close on May 13th!! So if I can work it out I will not have to pay my mortgage payment for May! I am not totally convinced yet, I will be more set after we get thru the 7 day back-out period that the buyer has to do a home inspection and an appraisal. The realtor is also not taking us off the market yet, so we could still get showings and possibly get more offers, so we are in a good place at the moment!

Tony is on the milk truck today, we were already short one driver and then late last week another driver put in his notice, so we supposedly have 2 new drivers hired but one doesn't start until this Thursday and the other one on Monday of next week. I will feel so much better once Tony doesn't have to be on the truck every day! We hired a part time helper for the office, which hopefully will work out with helping to answer the busy phones and callbacks, along with filing and other tasks that have just fallen to the wayside.
