Well, today we celebrated my Granddaddy's 75th birthday at the Golden Corral in Frederick (my mom's dad), the whole family was there...(Tony, Gabe, Sophia and me, my brother Ben, his wife Kate and their son Samuel, my cousin Scott and his family, my cousin Andrew and his girlfriend, my aunt Marcia and her friend John, my parents, and Grandma and Grandaddy)I guess that makes about 20 of us or so...the place was a mad house, but we managed, and I think everyone had a nice time. It is always good to be able to catch-up with one another. The kids could not run around and play, like if we were at someone's home celebrating the party, so they made do stacking creamer containers into pyramids and towers...so it worked out.
After the party we headed over to the mall, Tony and Gabriel were in desperate need of hair cuts, however Gabe thinks that getting his haircut HURTS and Tony has to practically sit on him to keep him still enough for the lady to cut his hair, it is soo embarassing, he screams and causes such a commotion in the mall...well at least that is done for at least another 6-8 weeks or so!
The rest of the day was spent out at the farm working on the house site. Tony was tearing down the old trailer structure and fixing the tires on it so that we could move it, he got more done today than he thought he would...I would have liked to have been able to help him out more, but the kids needed their naps, so I spent the afternoon inside my parents' house.
I am feeling better today, I have religiously been using Zicam, and it seems to really knock whatever cold I may be getting for a loop! I still have a bit of a sore throat but other than that I am felling OK!
We had one showing today...still have heard nothing from the realator...I guess we will be calling her first thing in the morning to get the scoop on what these buyers are thinking about our house!
Well we are getting ready to put the kids to bed, and then we will watch our other movie, "The Terminal." Good night!
