Busy, Busy Monday!!

Well my day started very early this morning...as I was having trouble sleeping...AGAIN!! So I got involved in some accounting for the creamery before falling back to sleep around 4:00 am (thank goodness the kids slept til 7:30 today!)

Monday is my laundry day, I guess I started this once a week laundry day when Sophia came along and I was back to work part time...it just seemed to make the most sense...plus my grandmother who is in her 70's does her laundry once per week, and it just makes life that much less stressful when you know it will all get done on Mondays! And yeap 8 loads later (however it is not all put away, although it will be put away TONIGHT) I am done laundry for yet another week! btw, I don't have trouble putting the clothes from the floor into the washer, or from the washer into the dryer...my trouble lies with the folding and then putting away part of the laundry...and we have a house showing tomorrow so it MUST be a priority!

The downstairs needed a through cleaning as well, we typically do not wear shoes past the foyer, but since all these strangers are coming into the house the floor feels dirty under my feet, so I vaccumed, mopped and scrubbed the floors.

I had a bunch of ham ends that I had brought home from the creamery to cook-off to sell in the store, so I did 3 of those and packaged all the meat and broth into 6 quart containers, we can sell those for $2.00 each, I usually take one to either make bean soap, or slippery pot pie with for a quick meal.

Gabriel and I got a good bit of schoolwork accomplished today, I think we were both in better moods today to concentrate and really get some work done. I was happy with the lessons of today! He was happy to get one of his netflix movies in the mail today...so I let him watch it this afternoon while I tried to get some account reconciliations done for the creamery.

Sophia must still be fighting this cold, she sounds better and acts fine...but she only plays about 1-2 hours at a time before she is wanting to take a nap again. Her schedule today was up at 8:00 am back for nap at 10:30, up at noon, back for a nap at 2:00 up by 4:15 and back down for the night by 6:30...when it is time for her to nap nothing can console her but to warm up a bottle of milk in the microwave, put her in her bed, and turn on her aquarium, she never fusses...just goes right off to sleep...(if only the first 6 months of her life would have been so simple!)

We did not have any showings today, but we did hear from the realtor about the showings we have had over the past week...overall things are positive, the only complaint has been about the adjoining neighbors' yard (which has 3 dogs in it and is all tore up)...so I did email the HOA today to complain that they were not doing their job and that I was suffering from the fact that they had let things go too far. The by-laws clearly state that no property owner shall have more than 2 animals on their property, and that the animals are not to be kept outside all the time...our neighbors have 3 dogs and those dogs LIVE outside, so some laws are definitely being broken, and if I have to lower the price of my house because of it I will be PISSED!!!

Tony had a busy day at the creamery, he made buttermilk today, and ran a bunch of errands around town. He had an idea about the house site...instead of demolishing the existing house he wants to go out and get some dynamite to blow things up...I told him nice idea, but I don't think that would work!

Well, my busy day is almost over and I want to take a nice HOT shower, before heading back downstairs to clean up the kitchen...hey I might even get to watch a 1/2 hour of tv before I fall asleep...good night!
