As we were putting the final touches on the cards and treats for Sophia to hand out to all of her friends, Tony reminded me that the kids don't look at the cards anyway...they just want the candy...well that may be true for boys, but when she received her very first valentine from Sammy this morning in the car on the way to school she was so excited about it that it brought back memories of me and my first Valentine Cards...how exciting it was to pick-out the valentines at the store and then write each and every classmates' name on the cards and awaiting the look on their faces when they opened the Valentine YOU gave to them...of course now each card has a treat attached to it...not sure if it was like that when I was young I just remember sitting and reading each card over and over again.
