1) write more on this blog, as it will be something to hand to my children and grandchildren to read, a cronicle of sorts and I need to make more of an effort.
2) keep in touch with more friends and family thru emailing more diligently or using websites such as facebook.com or myspace.com (afterall you can never have too many friends!)
3) send more cards thru the mail for birthdays or just because (afterall I LOVE getting mail in my mailbox!)
4) have another fun year with those I love the most my Tony, Gabriel and Sophia!
Although we did not stay up to actually see the ending of 2008 and the beginning of 2009, we are hoping for another fun filled year of success with our business and many memories to be made with our closest friends and family!
Today, the office is closed but it is a day of much needed cleaning and organizing of buildings in and around the creamery so that is our BIG plans for the day...spent the morning signing up new customers, cleaning out the filing cabinents, the sheds, putting the christmas decorations away and then hauling trash, we stopped briefly for lunch and brought the kids outside with us for the afternoon of doing the year end inventory and defrosting of freezers...
And this is the first bottle of wine drank in 2009...(some of the inventory my father-in-law purchased to fill my wine rack for Christmas...THANK YOU) Honestly, I picked this one up because I liked the label...the Riesling inside was good, I did not enjoy it as much as my favorit Chateau St Michele, but was fruity and light and easy to sip...
