It has been a very stressful past few weeks for us around here. I have been very sick and not able to do my normal daily routines. Tony has not only been working
his normal hours at the creamery but would then come home to dishes, dinner to fix and kids to entertain...I just was not up to doing any of it. I have been in so much pain and so nauseous that when he would cook dinner I would have to retreat to our bedroom and try to stay away from the smell as much as I could so that I would not start throwing-up again. This past week proved to be the worst with us spending one night in the ER so that I could get fluids because I stopped eating and drinking about 3 days prior...was FINALLY able to get into to see a GI doctor on Wednesday and she ordered tests right away and I underwent an Upper GI study yesterday morning. Dr. Sukamar found 8 lesions in my esophagus and stomach and took some biopsies, she is not thinking cancer at all just the start of ulcers, so now I pray that I can start to feel better with the meds she started me on.
I was supposed to start the Vienna Farmer's Market today but with me still being on the mend and my partner Jim having hurt his leg we decided to fore go attending for one more week.
The festival was a HUGE success last weekend. We were not sure what to expect this time around because we did not spend much money on advertising, but we were not disappointed in the least bit having as large of a crowd as we normally would.
