We don't go shopping much, in fact our only day in town, which is on Sundays is the day we try to do any and all shopping for the household. Since we work and live at the same place we thankfully don't have to fuel up as much as other people but today was the day my van needed re-fueling and it took almost $60!! Then we need to go grocery shopping (we only do this once every 4-5 weeks) so it is a HUGE trip when we go, and we decided to check out the new Giant Eagle in Frederick (which is very nice) but we spent almost $400!! (and that is NOT including any dairy, meat, bread or orange juice products because we get those from the creamery) Then the REAL kicker was my new meds to help heal my stomach ulcers, (which has been working) but this is the first time I had to actually fill the prescription since I was given about 10 bottles as samples...for a 30 day supply my out of pocket was $208!! Not sure what I am going to do yet but we simply can't afford to pay that every month!!
Tony and I were talking today about costs, everything has gone up recently, we are not sure how people are going to continue to live the same lifestyles. Not sure how it will affect our business, it may help that we offer a service that brings things directly to the customers door saving them fuel and time, or it may be deemed as a luxury which will be the first to go when cutting expenses...
