Turns out that instead of having our normal Sunday off, we were pretty darn busy today. Realized last night that we would need to make 8 batches of yogurt so that the drivers would have enough to fill customer orders on Monday, so we decided that we would have to forego going to church this morning in order to get everything we needed to get finished, done.
The morning went quite smoothly with the kids helping in the plant, Gabe was in charge of dating all the yogurt cups, Sophia was scrubbing trays and tanks (anything with water and a brusch and she is good to go!), Tony kept ahead of me making the next flavor of yogurt and keeping things washed up, and I tried to run the filling machine (we had our fights and Tony would have to come and rescue me!)...we finished up around noon and came home to change our clothes and head to town.
We stopped at KFC for lunch I was really in the mood for some yummy fried chicken and mashed potatoes...Sophia had other plans has soon after we sat down to eat she had a MAJOR meltdown and I ended up having to take her out to the truck until Tony and Gabriel finished and brought the leftovers out to me...
Last night Gabe and Sophia watched Aaron and Megan were fishing at the pond and they wanted to fish to, so we promised last night we would get poles and gear today and we could go fishing when we got home...ended up getting us all rods and gear, (even though Tony says he is not into the sport of fishing at all!)
We also stopped in at Meadow Farms Nursery to get some new plants for the flowerbed at the creamery and also to re-mulch our main flowerbed in front the house...spent way too much money AGAIN...everything is soo expensive these days! Bought 20 bags of mulch and hoped that would not only do ours at our house but also that at the creamery...we could have probally used at least another 6 bags
