Gabriel's first Report Card...

I was pleasantly surprised to find Gabe's first ever report card in his book bag. It is quite simple in Kindergarten, I remember it being an O, S or U back when I was in school now it is boxes with either an "X" or an "/" depending on weather he is proficient or just learning a skill. For the most part he had "X" on almost all his subjects which is fine but the place I was most concerned about was his reading, and in that subject he is FINALLY passed out of Level 1 reading into Level 2 and he is in the 2ND highest reading group in his class, so Tony and I are very happy and proud with his progress for his first quarter of the school year!

Also in his class they handed out Stepometers earlier this week and Gabe has now enrolled himself in the "President's Challenge"which means we will track his progress of how many steps he takes each day for the next 6 weeks and he will be eligible for an award based on the number of steps per day for his age catagory. I can see why this would be important to help fend off obesity at a young age, so wish him good luck!
