It has been over 20 years since we have purchased this many additional cattle for our farm. I remember back when we first started farming in 1981 and we got our 1st 100 cows and they arrived by tractor-trailer and it was a really bad blizzard and as they got off the truck they just sled on the snow! This year it was a bit on the chilly side but overall a nice clear day when these 130 new girls came to live on our farm from a farm over 4 hours away in Northern Pennsylvania.
