Mother's Day poems

This was a BIG year for Gabe as far as getting into Mother's Day. He made me cards at Grandma's house, at school, and at Sunday school. At school they learned about growing seeds into flowers and so Gabe also gave me the flower he grew as a Mother's Day gift.

My favorite poem(s) from Gabe is as follows...

Here's a gift for Mother's Day
I'll try my best in every way.
But when you get upset with me
Relax and have a pot of tea

The card was in the shape of a teapot, and inside the card along with the poem was a tea bag...such a cute idea!

The second poem came from Sunday school...

God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old:
He made her smile of the sunshine,
And he molded her heart of pure gold;
In her eyes he placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks fair roses you see;
God made a wonderful mother,
And he gave that dear mother to me
