I'm back...or at least for today...

Yeah, yeah I know it has been FOREVER, but what can I say a bit of the post holiday blahs (yeah they come late for me I guess) and really nothing that "special" going on right now, and I guess that just kept me away from writing.

My parents have been gone almost a week now, and we are unclear of when they will return, they are apparently having a great time, the farm and creamery are still standing, so they have not even started heading back east at this point...plus I guess our first MAJOR snow of the season is helping with that fact as well. We have been looking for a FT store clerk...have actually interviewed and hired 2 people, neither of which ever showed up, we are also hiring yet another driver, we decided that Ronnie (our mechanic) needs to also be home more because the trucks are not getting serviced as well as they should because he is always out on a route plu that leaves Tony back on a truck if anyone calls in sick, he has a bunch of interviews early next week.

My brother and Kate found out that they are having another boy, so I have slowly begun the cleaning out of my girls clothing I must have 20 boxes of stuff, I offered 3 boxes on freecycle.org last week and it went so fast that I think I will wait awhile to post more...besides it is quite fun going back thru the boxes, so if I only do a little bit at a time it will be more therapetic for me!

Vincent is due to go to the vet this week to be neutered, and we also have an appointment with the invisible fence guy tomorrow...Vincent is starting to follow our vehicles out to the road and we don't need to loose another pup, so hopefully the estimate won't be too awfully expensive.

I am still having a bunch of trouble with my eyes. I have been having problems with burning and stinging since just before Christmas, and about 2 weeks ago I was seen by an actual eye doctor (after going to Allegheny Optical and having a bad experience), and since have been put on eye drops, they help somedays but I have been unable to wear my contacts since Thursday because it is just too painful...I sure hope it is nothing too serious as the thought of having ANYTHING wrong with my eyes totally freaks me out...just going thru a simple eye exam is terror for me!

We were supposed to have out monthly outing today and we were going to go to "Port Discovery" in Baltimore but because of the snow we decided to put it off for a few weekends. So pretty much today has been me doing laundry and dusting of the house, Tony and Gabe took the tractor and dug out our driveway and over at the farm and creamery, we watched one of our netflix movies, went out sledding and made a snowman ( I am thinking it was my first snowman ever), and played games with the kids...to be honest the day seems like it is dragging on and on...

Well I had better go and figure out what is for dinner...hopefully I will be back soon!
