Well, you can say that I have been quite busy trying new recipes! Had to run to the grocery store for a few items that I did not have on hand, but even though mine did not turn out quite as pretty as the ones in the photo, they were quite tasty! It made about 8 large wedges, so I took them over to share with the girls in the office as well as both of Gabe's teachers. The rest I have managed to devour on my own this afternoon...yummy!
Gabe definitely "dug" in his heels this morning with eatting his breakfast and then taking his meds. I had to call Tony to come home and help me with Gabe again because I simply loose my patience too quickley with him...where Tony is able to handle things with a calmer demenour, and actually did manage to get Gabe to eat a rather decent breakfast AND take his meds thru a straw (versus being held down and having it forced in)! So even though it looked as though he was not going to be able to make it to school today, Tony did end up taking him right after he finished giving him his meds!
Both of Gabe's teachers were very happy to see him today, and since I am paying for Gabe to go to school I was happy that he wasn't missing more classroom time!
