Was getting ready to leave for work, when out of no where Sophia threw-up her breakfast all over me and herself, Kate and Sammy arrived soon after to help with the aftermath of it all. I decided that since Sophia obviously wasn't feeling very well, I would take Gabe to and from school today so that Kate could tend to Sophia and Sam and not have to haul them in the car.
On the way home from dropping Gabe off, coming around the corner of the chicken house, I could see in the distance this white "blob" coming towards me on the road, it was exciting the heifers in the one lot and they were running towards it and I was afraid they might storm the gate...as I got closer I could see it was the entire herd of pigs!! They were all out and heading down the road!! I quickley got on the cell phone to call for "HELP!" Tony didn't answer but I finally got ahold of Ben. I was able to get them off the road and into the front yard of mom and dad's by the time Ben arrived...what a site that was! Luckily, the road was not busy and we only had one car watching us chase 7 pigs around the yard!
I get back to the creamery and get settled into my Monday morning routine when my billing clerk starts throwing up in the bathroom and asks if she can leave early, I tell her she has to at least stay until after she gets the billing done, we could put things in order tonight in front of the tv if we have too, but I did not have time to do all the billing, so she managed to stay until about 1:30. Mom, who has been running the store during the week had to go to the DMV this morning to renew her license, so we were already short on help in the store as it was.
Both Gabe and Sophia are sick with fevers and runny noises, and Sam was just not content here today, he kept running around crying for his mommy. As the day goes on my stomach is starting to not feel so good either...I guess whatever is going around we will all end up with anyway, so I guess I am next....
At least I was just planning on doing leftovers for dinner....
