Another 2 days have come and gone with a blur. My days are filled with so much activity that it is really hard to keep up, and I really want to write everyday to help me to remember all the happenings around here!
Each day starts out about the same way...me trying to get awake before my children so that I at least have a few moments to myself to get ready for the day...we did by a timer for my coffee pot, so at least it is waiting for me now,(and not the other way around). Laundry seems to be overtaking the house, I used to have one day a week that I would devote to this task, but the kids need so much attention these days that if I can tackle one load per day (that is washing, drying, folding and putting away) then I feel like I have accomplished something!
I have been helping keep my nephew Sam, I help to watch him pretty much every afternoon, and Kate helps me with my 2 at least 2 days per week, it is a nice feeling knowing that my children are around their cousins and other loved ones on a daily basis.
Our pup Daisy Mae, has been making herself at home at the office and then we have also been allowing her to sleep in the house at night. She just wants to be around us ALL the time. Tony and I even took her in the milk truck yesturday when we went to run errands in Hagerstown, and she did great, she stayed with us, and layed at our feet when it was time to leave.
I watched a girlfriend from HS's children one afternoon while she had a job interview...she is going thru a divorce and had no one else to watch them...I was nervous at first about watching them, but everyone played nice together and we had a nice time.
We were out late last night working down at the creamery getting some of the tents and tables up for this weekend's festival...with the rain we are not expecting a good turnout, but we need to at least put forth the effort, and hope for the best!
