All of us have been fighting sinus infections and stomach bugs, so a good night's sleep has been a rare commodity! I think Gabe and Tony have gotten the worst of it, I don't think there has been a single night in the past week that Gabe has not ended up on the floor of our bedroom sometime overnight. He talks very LOUDLY in his sleep and seems to be having some nightmares. The one night on the way into our room he threw-up all down the hallway, so instead of trying to clean that up at 2:00 am, I covered it with a towel and saved the lovely chore for the morning, ugg! Last night on his way to the bathroom he did not quite make it and I had that to clean up from all over the bathroom floor, his clothes and himself (had quite enough of cleaning up bodily functions!)
Sophia is walking better with each day, she keeps quite busy emptying out my kitchen cupboards, and then tooting her new found "toys" around in her diaper bag, she has even started to tell me when it is time for a diaper change, by bringing me the diaper and then lying down on the floor...so maybe I should try to see if she would sit on the potty??
Gabe starts pre-school next week, and then we are looking forward to our trip to Canada for a week!
Things at the creamery are FINALLY picking back up again, we ran some advertising in a little magazine called the "Clipper" it seems to have generated a good bit of extra in store traffic as well as some new sign-ups. The new girl in the office is working out OK, she is finally getting the billing down, but has been forgetting to check her voicemail...when Tony checked it last night she had 45 messages in there!!! So we will get to deal with all those today!
Around the house, Tony finally got finished hanging the rain gutters (a job we were both despising by its end!) just an absolutely horrible job, but with it behind us we can move forward with jobs like water-treating the deck..whoohee!!
Tony is also now teaching the 6th graders at our church. We had our first class last Sunday, we have about 12 students and it was a bit more work than we had bargained for...we will need to have better lesson plans in place for this Sunday to keep everyone busy!
